Principal Occupational Therapist/Owner
Inbal Luft has worked as an occupational therapist for over 12 years. Prior to studying occupational therapy, Inbal undertook various roles within the health and disability sectors. As an occupational therapist, she has worked in both the public and private sectors, as well as in inpatient and community settings.
Inbal specialises in working with people who have experienced severe, complex and catastrophic injuries. She has extensive experience working as a case manager and occupational therapist with people who have experienced acquired brain injury, spinal injury, complex orthopaedic injury, amputations, chronic pain and mental health conditions.
Inbal has worked as an occupational therapist and case manager within various schemes and organisations, including CTP insurance, WorkCover, Lifetime Care and Support Scheme, public healthcare settings, within not-for-profit disability organisations and has completed work for the Office of the Public Trustee and Guardian. She has also provided medico-legal assessments and reports on clients with a range of complex injuries.
Inbal is a member of OT Australia and is a registered Occupational Therapist. She is FIM accredited and is committed to ongoing professional development through her participation in training, courses and conferences, which ensures that her service is up to date with current practice. She is currently a rater for the physiotherapy evidence database PEDro and has been involved in various research projects. Inbal has provided supervision to other occupational therapists.
Inbal has a special interest in working with people who have experienced cognitive impairment and/or behaviour change as a result of neurological injury and other health conditions. She has been involved in developing and presenting specialised training that aims to improve the practical support that people with cognitive and behavioural imparments receive whilst living in the community.
